Villa Mohan

Hyderabad, India – 2021

scope of work

  • Architectural Façade Design

The client approached us to redesign the facades and overall treatment of the large scale villa. The structure was already built and approved so working within the skeleton was essential and adding some depth to the Façade was our challenge.

A modern approach to the villa exterior that uses locally sources material, from brick to wood. The suspended exterior balconies and canopies act as a one continuous envelop tracing through the square volume, adding depth, shade and privacy. The cantilever white envelop is supported by steel structure and the existing concrete columns emphasizes the linear geometry and contains some green flowerbeds, garden and shading elements.
